I went to DC and shot these pictures a while back. I like street photography, and most famous street photographers shoot their pictures in black and white so I decided to do so as well. I think the definition of Street Photography is outdoor/street action including people and their expression. Candid shots (without them knowing you're photographing them).
I started the trip by going all the way up 14th street to Florida Ave. and on my way there i shot this coca-cola trunk by sticking my head out the car.
Bundling up for our adventure.
As I was walking down 14th street, making my way to U st. I saw this and thought I'd show the people the DC outrageous gas price.
MID-DAY DC DAY = EMPTY STREETS
DC Public Transportation: METRO BUS/TRAIN
I worked my way down to Chinatown and went to The Smithsonian Art Museum.
This was taken across the street from The Park club on 14th & K st.
HARD LABORER WORKERS.
I ended my DC adventure by stopping by The Lincoln memorial and ran into another photographer, he was capturing 8 second intervals of the sunsetting on the memorial.
