This past weekend was VCU's homecoming. So i had to pay my man Michael a visit. We ended up going to cook during the day and was partying at night.

Shawn Sky is an upcoming local artist from VA, I've known him for some years now. I've gotten a chance to see the development of his work. Cement 3s.

If you're into sneakers you would know that Jordan retro'ed The Cement 3s and released them this past saturday January 22nd. The 3s are one of my favorite shoes so you know i had to get them. I really like the cement box they came in. I'm going to hurt people's feelings this summer when I pull them out with the matching cement bucket hat.

Botanical Garden.

Last week my lighting class went to The Botanical Garden to practices using different flash techniques. Ive been there 3 times before and I sort of didn't want to go again because I was tired of shooting the same flowers, but this time it was different. I used a little flash (280EX) but it made a big difference from the previous times I went. I've never really used a flash, but i do plan on buying one in the near future.

Where I'm From...... DC!

I went to DC and shot these pictures a while back. I like street photography, and most famous street photographers shoot their pictures in black and white so I decided to do so as well. I think the definition of Street Photography is outdoor/street action including people and their expression. Candid shots (without them knowing you're photographing them).





I started the trip by going all the way up 14th street to Florida Ave. and on my way there i shot this coca-cola trunk by sticking my head out the car.

I worked my way down to Chinatown and went to The Smithsonian Art Museum.

I ended my DC adventure by stopping by The Lincoln memorial and ran into another photographer, he was capturing 8 second intervals of the sunsetting on the memorial.

NYC = My Escape

I was going through my hard drive and came across these pictures I took when I went to NYC this summer. I really miss New York! New York is my get away/escape, i go there when i have problems to relax. I must admit I run from my problems. Thats infamous ferris wheel in Coney Island. The Guy with the tooth brush is my close friend, Rico Frum, every time I go to New York I stay at his spot. Bushwick Brooklyn. The crowd picture was a Nike ID event near Canal street. I had to climb a scaffold to get the view. NYC I miss you dearly, i will be back for you soon.
